FAQ
FAQ
What is OpenHype?
OpenHype lets you open digital packs to collect real trading cards. Keep your pulls in our vault, sell eligible cards back, or request physical delivery.
How do packs work?
Choose a pack, check its cards and odds, then select how many to open. Your pulls appear in your Inventory, where you can view each card and its available options.
Are the cards physical or digital?
Every card you pull is backed by a real card held in our vault. OpenHype is built on X Layer, with NFTs representing physical cards onchain. You can view available token and ownership details on the card page.
How do I get my cards delivered?
Select cards in your Inventory and submit a shipping request with your delivery address. We will prepare a shipping estimate. Pay the quoted fee and follow your request in My Shipments.
How do I pay for packs?
Use Pack Credits or a supported stablecoin from your Crypto Wallet, as shown at checkout. Pack Credits cannot be withdrawn; supported crypto assets can be withdrawn to an external wallet. Pack prices are shown in USD, with a converted estimate when you select another display currency.
How does buyback work?
Eligible cards can be sold back while their buyback offer is active. Check the pack’s buyback rate and the card’s quoted amount, payout currency, and expiry before selling. Payouts may be in Pack Credits or supported stablecoins, as shown in the offer.
How do Pack Battles work?
Two to four players open the same pack type and quantity. The highest total card value wins, individually or as a team in 2v2 mode. Public and private rooms are available; check the battle rules for prize distribution and ties.
How can I verify my pulls?
Our Provably Fair system commits to randomness before draws. Once the relevant seed is revealed, you can verify results against that commitment. Infinite Pack seeds can be revealed from the verification page, Limited Pack seeds are revealed after sellout, and battle seeds after the battle ends.Learn more →
How are cards authenticated?
Every card is authenticated onsite by LegitApp before entering our vault. For graded cards, you can also check the grading details and certification with the relevant grading company.
Can I send a card for grading?
Yes. As an official CGC dealer, OpenHype can help you send raw cards you pull directly for grading. Contact support for the submission process and fees.
How does Card Upgrade work?
Choose an eligible card from your Inventory and a target card you want to win. Review the success chance before starting. A Provably Fair roll decides the result: a successful upgrade awards the target card, while a failed attempt consumes your selected card.
What is Vault Cards?
Vault Cards lets you send your own graded cards to OpenHype for storage and addition to your NFT collection after verification. Start a submission, follow the shipping instructions, and track it from Vault Cards. Submitted cards can be shipped back, but cannot be sold back, used for upgrades, or exchanged.
How does OpenHype use X Layer?
X Layer is the blockchain network used for OpenHype’s card NFTs and supported crypto transactions. Onchain records make ownership and transfers traceable. You can use the explorer links shown in card and transaction details to check available records.
How does the Privy wallet work?
Privy powers OpenHype’s sign-in and built-in Crypto Wallet, so you can get started without installing a separate wallet app. The wallet is used to authorize supported crypto payments and withdrawals. You can add extra verification in Crypto Wallet Security settings.
What are RWA collectibles?
RWA means real-world assets. On OpenHype, a card NFT represents a physical collectible held in our vault, connecting its onchain ownership record to the real card. You can view the card online and request delivery of the physical item.
